By accessing or using the Easy Tax Academy website (www.easytaxacademy.com) or any of our services, including online training programs, webinars, student portals, and partner/ambassador programs (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use our Services. Your continued use of the Services after any changes to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Description of Services

Easy Tax Academy is an independent online education and training provider located at 2123 Central Ave, Schenectady, NY 12304. We provide:

• Online tax preparation training courses and educational programs
• Live and recorded webinars on tax preparation and related topics
• Student dashboards, lesson materials, quizzes, and completion certificates
• A voluntary Partner/Ambassador referral program
• Customer and student support services

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use Easy Tax Academy's Services. By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. Individuals under 18 are not permitted to use our Services.

4. User Accounts

To access course content, your student dashboard, or partner features, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information
• Keep your account credentials confidential and not share them with any third party
• Notify us immediately at info@easytaxacademy.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account
• Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account

Easy Tax Academy reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or remain inactive for extended periods.

5. Online Training Programs

Upon successful enrollment and payment, you receive access to your purchased Easy Tax Academy training program. The following terms apply to your program access:

• Access is granted to the individual student who enrolled — it may not be shared, transferred, or resold
• Course materials, videos, PDFs, workbooks, and other content are provided for personal educational use only
• Completion certificates are issued upon successful fulfillment of program requirements, as determined by Easy Tax Academy
• Easy Tax Academy reserves the right to update, modify, or discontinue program content at any time to maintain accuracy and quality

6. Educational Disclaimer

Students who intend to prepare tax returns for compensation must independently obtain a Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) from the IRS and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations governing tax preparation.

Easy Tax Academy does not guarantee employment, client acquisition, business success, or any specific income level. Actual results vary based on individual effort, local market conditions, and other factors outside Easy Tax Academy's control.

Completion certificates issued by Easy Tax Academy confirm course completion only and do not constitute professional licensure, IRS certification, or government authorization to practice in any jurisdiction.

7. Payments and Fees

All course and program fees are displayed on our website and must be paid in full prior to access being granted (unless a payment plan has been arranged). All prices are listed in U.S. dollars (USD).

Payments are processed securely through Stripe, our PCI-DSS compliant payment processor. Easy Tax Academy does not store full credit card numbers. By providing payment information, you represent that you are authorized to use the payment method provided.

8. Refund and Cancellation Policy

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the Easy Tax Academy website and within our training programs — including but not limited to course videos, audio recordings, PDF workbooks, worksheets, quiz questions, written materials, graphics, trademarks, logos, and software — is the exclusive intellectual property of Easy Tax Academy or its licensors and is protected by applicable U.S. and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, publicly display, sublicense, sell, or create derivative works from any Easy Tax Academy content without express prior written permission. Unauthorized use of our intellectual property may result in immediate account termination and legal action.

10. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Share your login credentials, account access, or course materials with any other person
• Download, record, copy, or redistribute course videos or materials
• Use course content for commercial purposes without written permission from Easy Tax Academy
• Attempt to circumvent any access controls, security measures, or digital rights protections
• Use our Services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations
• Post false, misleading, defamatory, or harmful content through our platform
• Engage in any activity that interferes with or disrupts the operation of our website or Services
• Misrepresent your affiliation with Easy Tax Academy or impersonate any person or entity

11. Third-Party Services

Our Services may integrate with or link to third-party platforms and services, including Stripe (payment processing), GoHighLevel (CRM and communication), Google Analytics, Meta advertising platforms, and others. These third-party services operate under their own terms of service and privacy policies, for which Easy Tax Academy is not responsible. Your use of any third-party service is subject to that service's applicable terms.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

EASY TAX ACADEMY'S SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR CONTINUOUS AVAILABILITY. EASY TAX ACADEMY DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, EASY TAX ACADEMY, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE OUR SERVICES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF REVENUE, LOSS OF DATA, OR LOSS OF BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, EVEN IF EASY TAX ACADEMY HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

IN NO EVENT SHALL EASY TAX ACADEMY'S TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU PAID TO EASY TAX ACADEMY DURING THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

14. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Easy Tax Academy and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

15. Termination

Easy Tax Academy reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without notice, for any violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or other conduct that Easy Tax Academy determines is harmful to the Services or other users.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at info@easytaxacademy.com. Termination of your account does not entitle you to a refund unless you are otherwise eligible under our Refund Policy.

16. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You agree to submit to the exclusive personal jurisdiction of the courts located in Schenectady County, New York for the resolution of any disputes arising under or related to these Terms.

17. Changes to These Terms

Easy Tax Academy reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, by email notice to registered users. Your continued use of the Services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

18. SMS / Text Messaging Terms

Easy Tax Academy may send SMS text messages to users who have expressly and voluntarily opted in to receive such communications. SMS messages from Easy Tax Academy may include:

• Webinar registration confirmations and reminders
• Training program updates and announcements
• Student support and enrollment information
• Promotional messages for Easy Tax Academy programs and services (where you have consented)

SMS consent is collected only through a separate, voluntary, clearly labeled opt-in checkbox on our forms. Providing your phone number alone does not constitute consent to receive SMS marketing communications.

SMS messages are sent by or on behalf of Easy Tax Academy, 2123 Central Ave, Schenectady, NY 12304. SMS consent and phone numbers collected for SMS purposes will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.

Carrier Liability

Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to effective transmission by your wireless service provider and is outside Easy Tax Academy's control.
